Registration Guidelines

You can also register onsite at the registration desk located on the ground floor of The Mohammed Bin Rashid Academic Medical Center, Dubai.

Each participant will receive a Registration number by email after the submission of the Online Registration Form. Please do not send any payment by bank transfer without the Registration number and participant’s name included in payment details.

Registration Fees

All listed fees include local VAT 5 %

Please note students fees are only available for midwifery students in a pre-service midwifery programme (not yet licensed or registered in their country). Please attach documentary evidence of your student status, eg. Student ID card (PDF, JPG scan) during your registration.

Please make sure to pay your registration fee before the deadline for the selected registration type. If the payment is not received in time, before the official deadline for the selected fee, the latter fee will automatically apply. Unpaid or partially paid registration will not be considered as valid until fully paid.

All registration deadlines are applicable considering the local time (CET/CEST).

Please note the Abstract Book (USB) and printed Final Programme booklet are not included in the registration fee. Both above-mentioned items are subject of charge and to be purchased during the registration process.

In order to respect the principles of sustainable development, we have decided not to print the Final Programme and not to distribute the Abstract Book on USB sticks. All necessary information will be available on the conference website as well as in conference mobile application. And both brochures will be downloadable for pre-registered participants. Should you still prefer to receive a paper Final Programme and/or Abstract Book on USB, both are available for purchase during the registration process.

Onsite Registration

Please note on-site registration payments can be processed by credit cards or in cash.

Insurance

The registration fee does not include participant’s insurance against accidents, sickness, cancellation, theft, property damage or loss. Participants are advised to take out adequate personal insurance.

Confirmation

Each participant will receive the registration overview and email notification confirming the received payment and the amount outstanding after the completion of the Online Registration Form.

All fees are to be paid in USD; please note that bank charges have to be paid by the delegate.

The payment by bank transfer is available until 27 August 2018 (credit/debit card payment only after this date).

In the unlikely case of any rejected online credit/debit card payment, please log into the Online Registration Form and try to process the payment once again. Should the trouble with the payment persist, please contact the credit/debit card issuer/bank first and check if online/international transactions are disabled on the credit/debit card. Payments are processed via GP webpay secure connection. GP webpay conforms to international standards and it meets the strictest safety requirements of the MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by VISA standards as defined by the MasterCard and VISA card associations. These standards are designated as 3D Secure and they ensure maximum payment security.

Six Payments Security Details

Payments are processed via Six Payments secure connection. Six Payments conforms to international standards and it meets the strictest safety requirements. 3-D Secure, or 3DS for short, is supported by American Express (SafeKey).

Final Invoice

The final invoice will be provided to the participants upon request, the document is not sent automatically. Please contact us to ask for your receipt.

The final invoice will be issued based on details provided while registering (step Contact/Invoice details). Any change of such details (address, VAT number etc.) is possible only within 3 days from the registering date and is subject to the 20 USD fee.

Cancellation / Refund Policy

Cancellation of Registration

  • Until 18 July 2018 - 50 USD administrative fees will be deducted from all refunds
  • From 19 July until 27 August 2018 - 50% of the fee will be refunded
  • From 28 August 2018 - no refund can be processed

The European General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) entered into force as of 25 May 2018 and it involves some additions to data protection.

We take your privacy very seriously and in order to comply with GDPR consent requirements, we need you to confirm that you agree with our new Privacy Policy during the process of creating the account in our system. You can view it here.
